Fans sue Madonna for late show

She should have just cancelled.

There are many, many risks involved in attending a Morrissey show, but him starting at 10.30pm is - thank god - not one of them.

Yes it's a pisser when they do that. I went to see New Order at the Warehouse Project in Manchester a few years ago and they came on at midnight!

Oh god I couldn't cope with that! I remember seeing Primal Scream at some little club in Reading in 1987 (I think?) and they finally staggered on stage after midnight, absolutely shitfaced. There were only about 50 of us left by that point, in the audience! Still good fun, though.

The Jim Beattie line-up, then. That's a rare sighting. Probably an unpopular opinion, but that's my favorite incarnation of Primal Scream.

That could set a dangerous precedent where Morrissey fans are now suing for travel expenses, lodging, etc. for concerts that were canceled last minute.
I hope it does, at least then he may think before cancelling or at least give a valid reason.

There is probably some disclaimer in the tiny print of the ticket that protects the artist, etc. from lawsuits for this kind of thing, like this-

I was, of course, joking as this lawsuit is ridiculous. We all know Madonna needs an extra three hours to spackle her face and let it set. Don’t go if you can’t handle it.
