I'm looking like a serial responder to your threads, but...

When I was in a thrash/hardcore/punk band (named Beer Beast, latterly we changed the name to The Warriors Of Piss), Dave the drummer was a huge fan, and we did a thrash version of Bantam Cock. Dave has the tape somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it out.

Would be great to hear your take on "Bantam Cock". I think JT was a unique talent. Great wordsmith, Northern wit, distinctive voice, wonderful music.
