I was sifting thru the new Rolling Stone earlier today and saw an obit on Jerry. I'll only repeat the Morrissey part...

In 2004, Jerry was tapped to produce Morrissey's acclaimed comeback set, You Are The Quarry. Before he died Finn was working on another record with the British singer. "Jerry was a successful producer with no ego, no sellouts, no zoo antics, no thirst for power", says Morrissey. "Just a love of music and a high level of fastidiousness."
