I thought the original version DVDs that were released in those 2-packs with the special editions (I assume that's what you are referring to having) still weren't actually the original versions; that there were still some changes. I've just been watching the VHS and the laser disc rips to see the original versions all this time. There have been so many versions released that I lost track, and I never cared for the 90s remakes.
