I decided to curtail my visits to Morrissey solo because I'm using my work tablet which they 'kindly' allow me to bring home for personal use but I'm still uncomfortable with this and find myself doctoring half of what I say. But it's impossible to do without Morrissey-solo. Again, I find I'm back to front. Most people create a persona on social media but I find it's the only place I'm myself. If someone can maintain social standards and respect for others in a place where there is absolutely no necessity for them to do so, I'll put my trust in them. Anyone can play by the rules in 'real life' because there are consequences for not doing so, but the real test is when there are no rules (or minimal rules), and people choose to still abide. I've found that when I'm left to my own devices, I'm quite happy to set myself rules, indeed I enjoy following rules, but when they're imposed, ineffectual, misplaced and inequitably enforced, I despair and rally against them. I'd seriously relish more rules in life if only everyone followed them and they were equally applied. Having well defined rules is it's own freedom. I suppose I should stop being a cheap skate where M solo os concerned, and get my own tablet or mobile.
