not heard the album yet so that's a good enough reason in itself!

We were starting to think you had given up on Morrissey socials!!

True, it’s been a while. But I’ve been waiting for a suitable occasion on which to re-launch myself into London Moz-fan society, and this would appear to be it! Nice central location too.
Have you and Mr C signed up for it?

Mr C is well under the thumb now, so much so that the actual gigs in May are looking in doubt. I will call him shortly. I shall be there, but not drinking until after the marathon now so I'm not great company! ;)

It will be good to see you!

Plus I have to drive to Hartlepool and back to watch the mighty West 'am United get knocked out of the F.A Cup - what fun!!

Cool. Glad you can make it. Very sad news about PC tho. Let's hope that Mrs C sees sense (on the sea shore).
I too have a place in the 'mara' (as we club runners call it!) but injury is looking likely to prevent me competing. Even the more serious athletes in my club don't stop drinking this far in advance - most just have a dry month in the run-up to the day. So, no excuses in January!

A licensing issue has arisen with LVPO.

Westminster Council so much to answer for!

Their licensing restrictions require that after 10pm anybody coming into the venue needs to pay LVPO £5 or have their name on the door.

I have negotiated the 10pm cut off to be 11pm but after that LVPO will charge you £5 at the main door in addition to the £7 to get into the Quarry function room.

So if you are planning to come along and you don't have an advance ticket and you arrive after 11pm it will cost you £12 to get in, £5 to LVPO and £7 to Quarry.

With that in mind and to reduce the hassle on the main door, if you are thinking of coming next Saturday can you please buy your tickets in advance at a cost of £5 each.

Also, those people who have bought tickets, can you please make sure you bring along a copy of your email ticket to show on the main door.

After 11pm they also need to have ticket holders names on the door so ticket holders who have purchased more than 1 ticket need to email me the names of the guests otherwise they will charge you the additional £5 to get in. Ticket holders who have already purchased tickets will also be contacted by wegottickets explaining this.

Guest names should be emailed to [email protected] together with the name and post code used in the booking.

Sorry for the confusion but if people follow the requests then it will reduce any hassle on the door on the night.

There are at this time approx 30 tickets left.

Thanks for your understanding,

Mike

There are 10 tickets left for Saturday's Quarry so if anyone does want to go then I advise you to buy your tickets in advance as it's unlikely there will be any available on the door.

There is nothing to scroll down. The last line on the page is "Details coming soon"

The Brixton Quarry tickets are not on sale yet but should be within the next week or two.

Cheap Drinks!!!!!

Went there on Friday with friends.

Very expensive but nice, guess we will be in the fuction room downstairs?

Anyway, to get half price drinks print some of these out. Remember they are one per person so you have to be imaginative with the names......and there only valid 'till 11pm so stock up at ten too.

'ave fun!!

Quarry this Saturday will now be opening an hour earlier at 9pm.

This is to allow people to take advantage of the venue's half price food and drink offer.

The offer is valid until 11pm and you need to bring along a voucher which you can print off using this link:

There are 9 tickets left and if there are any available on the night then they will only be available until 10pm because of licensing restrictions at the venue.

Quarry is taking place in the downstairs function room. You need to let the main door security know that you have come for Quarry

Many thanks,

Mike

Sorry to be a bit slow....but what is this Quarry?

Any good?

Quarry's simply a fun night out. Only Morrissey or the Smiths played and a place to socialise, dance and drink. Or you can sit in the corner a la the stereoptype!

Come, come. I haven't missed one since my first time last January.
