The atmosphere is a cross between Father Ted and Twin Peaks. The average age of the almost exclusively male clientel is early sixties. The majority of them are ex dockers, seamen and builders. All ten members of the darts team have moustaches.
The bar's new anthem - along with the perenial 'Fields Of Athenry' - is Irish Blood,English Heart by Mozzer. It doesn't leave a dry eye in the house."
