I was watching Katy on the Graham Norton show last night and wondered what an intelligent, well-read and interesting person like Russell would see in the loud, brash, dull woman that makes pop records for toddlers. I'll give their marriage 1 year, that's if they actually make it to the aisle. Anyone else agree?

I would say him and Katy Perry are made for each other, they're both loud, trashy and attention seeking.

Surprises me that Russell is a Morrissey fan. As he's dating Katy he must love all the rubbish chart music as well.

I actually quite like her, but I may be too forgiving for far too obvious reasons. Brand is obviously trying to improve her mind and convert her to Morrissey stuff. We'd all do the same, wouldn't we? Have you ever been with a girlfriend who doesn't like Morrissey who you thought you could convert?

It was recently claimed that Russell had sought out a therapist to treat his cat, Morrissey, after the animal started behaving strangely.

A source said: “Morrissey keeps weeing all over the house and scratching everything. He’s gone bonkers.”

The ‘Get Him To The Greek’ star was left amused when the animal behaviour specialist told him his pet was acting out of character because he was jealous of his relationship with Katy, whose own cat is called Kitty Purry.

The source added: “He thought it hilarious. Only he could have a cat fighting for his attention.”
