Morrissey and instruments

Has Morrissey ever learnt to play any instruments? I know from reading Rogan's book he wanted to be a drummer in his early years, but has he ever actually mastered any instrument? The piano in Death of a Disco Dancer doesn't count.

As far as I know, nope. I think he talks about it in "The Importance Of Being Morrissey". But there are some interesting photos out there
