Hello. Just thought you might like to know that my father, who works for Salford university, is going to try to book Morrissey to play there next year.
For those of you who don't know, Salford is a city adjoining Manchester, and the Smiths once gave a legendary performance at Salford uni (20 July 1986), which is considered to be one of the best gigs by any band EVER!
The main concert hall holds 1,800 people (all standing)
My dad has vast experience in this field, he has booked many bands for the uni over the years including the Cult and U2 (before they were famous!)
Please note that this isn't 'pie in the sky', but the chances of Moz agreeing are very slim, so I don't want to raise anyone's hopes unfairly. just keep your fingers crossed!
