I' almost EXACTLY where Gandhi is.
Me????
Me????
Is it? I can't figure it out.
And to an extent. I'm not really for government intervention in most cases.
wrong test dude
thats pretty good for someone from Texas
Didn't care for this test, as it seems designed (particularly in the economics area) to sucker ignorant people into lefty answers.
Wow, so am I really the only person on SoLow who loves freedom?

We all love freedom. That's why we're all libertarians so far, dummy.
ahem, i for one consider myself more anti-authoritarian than libertarian
at least until we have real leaders like
these to follow however, many libertarians or ok by me like bored i guess

I meant on the political scale-test-thingy we've done, Robby.
You ain't a libertarian if you're in the lower-left box (BTW, is calling someone a "dummy" okay outside the 'sty?). Libertarians are for, um...libertarian economic policy.....
Just because the creators of this silly quiz call a box "left-libertarian" doesn't mean people in that box are for freedom. That's just another example of socialists trying to steal a nice word (like they did with the word "liberal" in the USA). You guys should stick to the proper labels. You can go with "progressive" if you're ashamed of being socialists. But back the hell away from the word "libertarian" when you're only for freedom when it comes to killing babies, traking drugs, and crap like that. You're still for being a slave.
What I find funny is that all you Obama lovers who want Barack to raise my taxes don't seem too concerned that it seems like none of Obama's peeps he's picking for his administration pay their own taxes.
Libertarians are for, um...libertarian economic policy.....
I am a socialist, and I'm not afraid of the word, because for me as a working-class kid it means freedom fighter.
Franzanna believe me, this is not directed negatively towards you whatsoever.
But here in the US, someone leaning towards socialism is far from being a freedom fighter. The socialists want more government intervention; which cannot possible go hand in hand with more freedom.
But hey, so far I've only seen one other person on the right/lower side of the scale.
Really? That's mental.
Okay Theo, I'll let you off that one.
What is "mental" by it?
Well, just that to me, socialism is more about helping people. Really I suppose I should have asked what sort of government involvement socialists in the U.S. are after rather than delve right in with the mental-calling.
To believe that countries are socialist for the sheer purpose of "helping people" is extremely...well, in your case, naive.
I'm all for helping people when they're down, but the Welfare State needs to trim the fat.
