York Gig 25.06.2011 - Live Audio

Hello,

Here's the audio from last night's gig in York.

It was only recorded on my iphone voice memo recorder so it's not high quality, but it does the job. Also, I'm afraid I haven't got time today to split the songs and name them etc, but if anyone else wants to feel free! It's the full gig from just before the opening intro to just after the encore - approx 37mb download.

EDIT: Sorry - got wrong date in the title of the thread, should obviously be 25.06.2011.

Morrissey - Voice

and the Tetley Bitter Men
Boz Boorer
Matt Walker
Solomon Walker
Jesse Tobias
Gustavo Manzour

I left the south, I travelled north

on the plus side
The Voice, as commanding resonant and clear
as at any time in the last 28 years
and this recording captures that very well, i think.
The set, any set that includes I Know It's Over
Meat Is Murder, Shoplifters, Sunday, Speedway
and Alma Matters has to be a killer, plus at least
2 of the new songs sounding much better in a live setting

truly dissapointed...
in the overall sound, too often
the band sounded like an incoherent mush
way too low in the mix....
i'm putting this down to the house p.a
and/or where i was sat, rather than any
inadequecies of the much unfairly maligned band

or maybe you know better.....

I'm listening to the flac version now - it is an excellent version - thank you to Rimbaud for going to all the trouble of taking a top quality recording with top quality kit.
