My god, it is a great piece. Marr is talking about his new album, saying it sounds like Be Here Now by Oasis and it has guest appearances by Richard Ashcroft,John Squire and someone named Gord Downey?

Anyway, he also talks about Morrissey at Move, the fact that Manchester has dampened Moz's spirits

Also talks about some new song by Oasis - Little Boy Blue or something, and how it is a cross between the Sex Pistols and The Jam - sooo....Oasis really have not changed then!!!! LOL! Every song sounds like the jam and the pistols!

Go get it - it is the one with Doherty on the cover

Is it just me, or is this article really about nothing at all...

If I were Marr, I would not be talking about everyone elses stuff...Ashcroft, Squire and the guy from The Hip - that is a super group! I would talk about that and forget moz, oasis etc!

To clarify - I think, but not sure that Gord downey is in a canadian group the tragic hip. I googled it so not sure if that is right. Anyway, as I say I will scan if I can

Marr and Gord Downie!! Incredible posibilities. Downie is from the Tragically Hip (Ontario band formed in '83 - one year after the Smiths) Great voice. I'd suggest checking out "pidgeon camera" or "Fully Completely" and imagine Marr on guitar.

dear god! why would anyone be proud of making an album that sounds exactly like the point when Oasis turned to shit?

Well, at least he seems to have realised one thing. He can't sing and needs to get others to do it.

- and it only took him 20 years to realise it.
