Morrissey-Whyte

In my opinion the four Whyte tracks stand out as the best songs on YOR.

Why is he not playing with Morrissey anymore?
Did they fall out with each other?

it's not just your opinion, Stanley. it seems to be the consensus.
but this subject has been done to death a little.
Alain left the touring band in 2004 due to an unspecified illness.
he wrote songs for, and played guitar on, ROTT (and appeared in the You Have Killed Me video).
as we know, he also wrote songs for but did not play on YOR.
when last asked about the subject he said that he and Morrissey had a good relationship and Moz was v supportive of his other musical ventures.
I think Alain also appeared at one of the (fairly recent) American concerts where he met up with M and the band although didn't join them on stage.

Help me out, I can't find a list of who wrote what...

I'll go along with the consensus - the Whyte tracks do stand out.

So, where are the other two:
Because of My Poor Education" (Morrissey/Whyte)
"Shame Is the Name" (Morrissey/Whyte)

The other two are the new b-sides for ITMAAP. I agree, Whyte's are the best
