Well, highest chart position. He’s written Morrissey’s joint biggest ever UK hit, Smiths included.
I'll score it an 8.@Mike Rourke can you give me a score for The Night Pop Dropped? I see a '?', or is that meant to be a 7?
@Jamie can you review I Thought You Were Dead, and provide a score?

7 or higher are songs that I like, 6 are songs that I feel rather indifferent about, 5 or lower are songs that I wish had never seen the light of day. I have tried to focus more on the tune, but abstracting from the lyrics altogether is not easy.
aubrey,4 for forgive someone,we are polar opposites on this one,10 from me.It's a good crop. I like Jesse Tobias. Someone on here recently called him a "metal guru" and I thought that was apt. Other people criticize him for writing undistinguished "chug rock," which I guess is fair, but Morrissey can elevate generic material to greatness, and weren't Whyte and Boorer writing a bit of chug rock on Southpaw Grammar? I enjoy most of these Tobias songs. Without going through and rating them --/10, quickly:

iv always liked that and never got the controversy over it.My tastes must be peculiar. So far no one shares my view that I Bury the Living is a ten. I think it’s a late period masterpiece: beautiful, disturbing, and wry. The music and the lyrics compliment each other perfectly.
Could you rate these too, please?I'll score it an 8.
