Morrissey left education under qualified and chose not to work almost forty years ago. If his family had been genuinely poor I’d argue they wouldn’t have tolerated that. However he was indulged and flew to America etc before the widespread availability of low cost flights.
That doesn’t make him a credible candidate to talk about life in modern Britain, a country he left almost twenty years ago, having lived a cosseted and insulated existence - beyond the wildest expectations of an average person - for fifteen years prior to that.
1) Britain is 82% white. Racial diversity is a consequence of centuries of British imperialism and the Second World War - do you seriously posit that it would have been desirable or possible to disallow non white people from entering the country? LMAO
2) Stephen Yaxley-Lennon was found guilty of contempt of court for a second time after being given a suspended sentence after doing the same thing at an earlier trial. He has partially won his appeal because of a technical reason; ie that he wasn’t given sufficient time to build his defence. None of the facts have materially changed so let’s see what happens when the case is reheard at the Old Bailey, shall we?

If Morrissey had maintained an enigmatic silence after Ringleader his legacy would probably have remained intact regardless of his musical output. One of the most depressing aspects of his baffling transition to permanent tedium has been dullards like you posting on places like this
Being on the dole isn't living a 'cossetted' life. It means surviving on very basic money. In the 80s in the UK it was a way of surviving while having the time to be creative. Lots of bands, artists, aspiring writers were on the dole in the 80s. There was also a recession so jobs were scarce anyway. Living in a council house in a rough part of Manchester is hardly being 'cossetted or insulated' either.
But perhaps you have a vendetta towards Morrissey which has biased your reasoning?
1) 'Diversity' is a sham. It is an elite design to break up social cohesion, thus weakening solidarity and turning us all into serfs. It involves flooding Europe with cheap easily-exploitable foreign labour which causes lower wages or unemployment to those already here - though if you're moneyed or middle class it probably won't affect you. It is also a code word for 'anti white.'
2) The truth is now out that Tommy Robinson did NOT plead guilty to contempt of court. In fact he wasn't given a chance to plead at all. It was all media fabrication. He was refused his legal representation and locked up in a few mere hours - record time. In prison his human rights were violated in every way imaginable. Watch his interview where he describes this (if you can bear to watch somebody whose views differ from yours.) He committed no crime, only repeating info on the street that was (and still is) in the public domain in the form of a BBC article that names the defendants and their crimes. At the Old Bailey this will all come out as a total stitch up job by the British Establishment and I'll be laughing while you cry.
3) What political party represents the working class? If you're middle class it's a case of taking your pick.
4) The Labour party fully supports neoliberalism exactly the way it is. Remember Blair? He's still loved - but only by Labour politicians. The corporate right and the progressive left go hand in glove. The Labour party gave up socialism years ago - around the time they abandoned the working class and got into a strange brew of attracting the moneyed middle class and fomenting bullshit identity politics (which only increases division and alienation, and erodes social solidarity). Corbyn likes to make altruistic noises occasionally, but he's on his own and always has been. He's barely tolerated in his own party and is being killed off with dirty tricks as we speak.
You, my friend, are the 'dullard'. I find Morrissey's free opinions extremely exciting. Long may he air them, especially if it depresses people like yourself.
