Some people think about it all the time: Fifty-four percent of men and 19 percent of women think about sex every day or several times a day, according to the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction.

Well, when I'm not having it, I'm thinking about it while doing something else. I don't just sit there and watch porn, I'd never get anything done! in my experience, we do seem to talk about/ think about it a lot, so I'd say I disagree.

I actually think this varies greatly. A woman who has actually hadsex will, I think, be less likely to think about it, as it's less of a novelty. A virgin, on the other hand, will probably think about it a great deal more.

I see your point and agree with you about the great variation. I dunno about that last part, though. My female friends seem to fall on two ends of the spectrum: nymphos or nuns, and level of libido doesn't seem to correlate with status RE:virgo intactus.

The report was just released last week.

There's 2 likely reasons why only 19% of women say they think about sex--The sample size is too small, or women just aren't upfront about sex talk. Victorian era holdovers and all that.

well it makes the world go round. don't watch porn all day it rots the mind. yep people of both gender do a lot of both talking/thinking.

i saw very quickly a article about a sex survey and it said that there is a majority of people of a certain age (70%) who haven't had sex in the past year. so it went to say that the idea that everyone being at it like a bunch of rabbits in the springtime, is a bit of myth. wished i kept it, but it was on a train and i can't be arsed to carry a newspaper around with me.
