Predicting the new setlist

The Sauvignon Blanc is $2.99 in Orland Park... my favorite is Honey Moon Viognier, but they've been out for a few weeks... I buy the shit a case at a time...

Maybe we'll get to meet up, you're so aptly named we would get on well I think... only I never start until 6pm, which really isn't afternoon, it's more early evening. Coming to any Midwest shows? NY?

Wait, what? :p

The alcoholic afternoons were mostly "back in the day" anyway. Now it's generally an evening thing, work being what it is and all.

No Midwest or NY shows, just the Fillmore shows for me.

Yep, me too... know what I love most? The odd way he sings, "She" as "she-he-hay" like he's saying, "nobody... she nor he..." he breaks my heart and makes me want to give the pieces to him to see if he can fix them...

ha thats very sweet, but yes, I love everything about this song, but its all about the lyrics, very simple, but so powerful, "reach for my hand..."

I don't really know what the whole thing will look like. There will be some changes.

I think we will still see 4 ROTT songs plus Ganglord.

I think There is a Light becomes part of the nightly set.

2 of the new songs we know already per night
1 new song

kill uncle still gets ignored as does SG and Maladjusted

something not seen in the solo years form the smiths catalog like cemetry gates

I think Billy Budd or Speedway might make a comeback.

Maybe something revisited from 91 like Will Never Marry.

Stock songs such as First of the gang, Irish Blood, How Soon Is now.

Songs I'm really hoping stay because they were awesome are Disco and Gonna need.

Its too hard to predict a full set list but maybe some of you will try.

Ganglord was dropped after he went on Sick leave..I say it's fifty-fifty if he brings it back....he already has the three new songs...so I would say most likely he won't...

There Is A Light Will be played in every city but New York since Nugz will be in attendence...

Kill Uncle will remain ignore because Morrissey HATES it...

Reader Meets Author and Trouble Loves Me were played last year...so expect other tracks (Teachers, Boy Racer, Alma Matters, Roy's Keen) if anything from Southpaw Grammar or Maladjusted...

Interesting Drug and Suedehead are strong possibilites...Will Never Marry would awesome after the recent return of Disappointed and I've Changed My Plea To Guilty

Even though a lot of us are probably sick of the "Stock" songs...Morrissey is likely to keep them for sometime...

Don't be surprised to hear Glamorous Glue or Seasick, Yet Still Docked...and maybe even Tomorrow given Morrissey's recent re-fascination with Your Arsenal

If he did Seasick, Yet Still Docked, I don't think I would know what to do....between shock emotion happiness....it may all run together...that would be a treat. :)

Personally, I think I speak for LA's Latino community when I say we'd rather here "Manana" than First Of The Gang again...

I'm not Latino...but I'm still willing to speak for them...

Have you seen the setlist?
Billy Budd / London / You Have Killed Me / All You Need is Me / Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before / In the Future When All's Well / The National Front Disco / Stretch Out And Wait / Why Don’t You Find Out For Yourself / I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris / Let Me Kiss You / NEW SONG! - Goodbye, Farewell ? / Death of a Disco Dancer / Disappointed / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / The Boy With The Thorn In His Side / Everyday Is Like Sunday / Life Is a Pigsty / How Soon Is Now? // First Of The Gang To Die / Irish Blood, English Heart

Yes, bored's prediction is pretty accurate, but I didn't expect "Stretch Out and Wait" would make a come back.

Hope some kind soul will upload the bootleg soon. :)

These are great songs.
What a setlist!

Is it because they filmed it?

I don't know why all the hot fuss, he's gonna blow out his voice midway through the LA shows and take off back to Brindisi....

:)

I figured a Stretch Out And Wait type song but I would have bet heavily against Death of a Disco Dancer.

My Billy Budd thought came from how rocking it is as the opener on the Drury Lane bootleg and for him to open with it again is great.

I really like this setlist and basically the songs I really want to hear are all the ones I've never heard live. The newest new one, Paris, Stretch, Disco Dancer.. but would love to hear Billy Budd, Front Disco (This is his new disco inspired set), Find Out For Yourself, pigsty, IBEH..

songs I could do without..

how soon is now?, first of the gang, boy with the porn...

of course, i would want them replaced by other songs.. not just have the show end 3 songs early :)

He must be really fond of Let me Kiss You and I Just Want To See The Boy Happy.
These songs have been seriously overplayed.

But the good news is that Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself and Billy Budd are back!
And another one from Strangeways! Looks like he brings in a new one from Strangeways every tour. Which leaves only I Started Something, Unhappy Birthday and i Won't Share You unplayed.

He sang a few lines from Unhappy Birthday at the St. Louis date... with a twist to the lyric, of course!

Remember he never got to tour Strangeways. He's never had a chance to sing these songs live.
