Responses from people when you say you are a Morrissey fan.

Oh, like in The Wedding Singer when Sammy "just knew" that the airline checkin guy was a Flock of Seagulls fan?

It just ain't the kind of thing you can hide, like Scientology or leprosy. :guitar:

Notice how I refused to quote the line "It's written all over my fay-ee-ay-ee-yaaaace".

Most people say Who? Last year before the shows at the Fillmore in SF, I told some co-workers and one said she had seen him when she was 17. At first I thought cool, then I thought maybe she thought it was odd for me, then 29 to be seeing him as she had been into him as a teenager and 'gotten over it'. Hrm. After that whenever I mentioned going out somewhere and it involved Morrissey, my other co-workers would be just say 'well, of course'. So they got it, eventually.

I'm sorry guys but once it was "oh that racist"... trust me, he got a right lecture from me and looked proper sheepish once he found out that that statement had no merit and he obviously had no idea on the subject. Grr, I hate stupid people.

But usually it's "really? same!"
